Creamy Tomato Basil Sauce
A tomato sauce is already good. Add a spoonful of crème fraîche and blend it smooth in MyBlend Compact and it becomes something a little softer and rounder. Warm it briefly in the pan and you have dinner in under ten minutes. Simple to make and genuinely satisfying.
Ingredients
- 220 ml crushed tomatoes
- 70 ml crème fraîche
- 30 ml olive oil
- 20 ml fresh basil
- 1 small garlic clove
- 1 tsp honey or sugar
- Salt and black pepper
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to MyBlend Compact and blend until smooth.
- Pour into a saucepan and warm over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Toss with pasta and serve.
Tip: Keep the heat low when warming the sauce. High heat can make the crème fraîche separate and lose its smooth texture.
