Banana Bread
Soft, lightly spiced banana bread made with simple ingredients. Blend the batter, bake it in the oven, and you have an easy snack or breakfast slice ready for the days ahead.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 400-500ml rolled oats (blended into flour)
- 2 scoops whey protein powder
- 2 bananas (medium, mashed)
- 50ml oil
- 1.5 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 185°C.
- Blend oats in your MyBlend 3 until they become a coarse flour.
- Add eggs, bananas, oil, vinegar and remaining dry ingredients.
- Blend until well combined and smooth.
- Pour into a greased baking pan and bake for 25-35 minutes.
- Let cool slightly before slicing.
Tip: Blend the oats first until they become a coarse flour before adding the remaining ingredients. This gives a better, more even texture in the finished bread.
