Lemon Espresso Spritz
Lemon and espresso is one of those combinations that sounds unlikely and then makes complete sense the moment you try it. The citrus cuts through the bitterness in a clean, bright way that no amount of sugar can replicate. Served sparkling over ice with your MyBlend espresso on top. Easy, surprising, and very repeatable.
Ingredients
- 1 espresso
- 150ml sparkling water
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 to 2 tsp sugar syrup or honey
- 1 handful of ice
Instructions
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Add sparkling water, lemon juice, and sweetener. Stir gently.
- Brew one espresso with your MyBlend Portable Espresso Machine.
- Pour the espresso over the sparkling lemon water. Stir once and drink.
Tip: Use cold sparkling water straight from the fridge. Warm sparkling water loses carbonation faster and the drink goes flat before you finish it. If you want it sweeter, honey dissolves better than sugar in cold drinks.
