Energy Balls
A simple snack to keep in the fridge for busy days. Dates, oats, protein powder and cocoa blend into a soft mix you can roll into easy energy balls for whenever you need something quick.
Ingredients
- 10 pitted dates
- 300ml rolled oats
- 2 scoops chocolate protein powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 50-100ml milk (as needed)
- 1 pinch salt
- desiccated coconut (optional, for rolling)
Instructions
- Add dates to your MyBlend 3 and pulse until finely chopped.
- Add oats, protein powder, cocoa, salt and milk.
- Blend until the mixture holds together when pressed.
- Roll into even-sized balls and coat in coconut if desired.
- Store in the fridge or freezer.
Tip: The mixture should hold together when you press it between your fingers. If it is too dry, add milk one tablespoon at a time. If too wet, add a little more oats.
